American Medical Response EMTs and Paramedics
Receive Best Friends Training

The Sacramento region of American Medical Response (AMR) is engaged in a pilot project to train its 300 area EMTs and Paramedics in the Best Friends approach to dementia and elder care. An eight- hour curriculum has been developed by David Troxel to increase the awareness of these emergency professionals.
